Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: My family took in foster care infants throughout my teenage years. This gave me experience and a love of taking care of babies. I find myself drawn to women who are pregnant and those who have babies. I have been a source of support and knowledge for many of my friends over the years. I have one child of my own and have been a special educator for more than 15 years.
What led you to become a Doula?: New mothers need support, and I enjoy providing that support.
