Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: After having my daughter, I quickly realized that women have been miseducated on giving birth and pregnancy health, in general. Then shortly after I gave birth, I attended Lexington Healing Arts Academy to become a Licensed Massage Therapist. While attending this school, I learned about the human body, in-depth, and saw that there is a whole plethora of information that no one even knows about. Or at least that I knew about. So I then decided that I wanted to devote my time to the human body and not only just the human body but the body of a woman; because I am a woman. We are the gateway of life and I want to protect such a sacred place.

What led you to become a Doula?: I am setting my life path on educating and helping women to take care of themselves. For me being a doula is a critical part of this life path.
