Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I believe that my own experiences with pregnancy and birth will be valuable to birth work. My 11 years of pediatric healthcare experience will also be of great value for birth work.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have always been a helper from a young age. I loved babysitting and taking care of kids, and have worked in pediatric healthcare for 11 years. I have really enjoyed my first career path, but I knew that I wanted to do more and that I really wanted to serve women. A google search led me to find this amazing career as a postpartum doula.
