Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been a caregiver - children, friends, family members - for my entire life. I worked as a full time nanny since I was sixteen years old and spent a large amount of that time caring not only for the babies but their parents as well. Supporting families is a passion of mine!
What led you to become a Doula?: Working as a nanny is rewarding but can be isolating. I was looking for a field where I could use all my infant care skills while still working with adults. When I found out about birth work I knew it was the career for me.
