Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: After corporate downsizing, I was a long-term nanny. I decided to turn that into a career as a postpartum and newborn doula.
What led you to become a Doula?: Babies have always fascinated me; I enjoy watching their developmental skills. Having my own children and remembering how difficult the postpartum period was, I have great empathy for what new moms are going through.
