Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: My background is varied. I have a Master’s Degree in Psychology. I have been an educator in the field of emergency services for the past 4 years and a part of the field for 11 years. The birth and parenting of my two daughters has greatly impacted the person I have grown to be as well.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have become interested in birth over time. My experiences in providing child care, emergency services, and seeing the birth and parenting experiences of my friends and family, as well as my own 2 births have lead me to this work.
