Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: For about a year and half or so prior to getting my certification, I was a birth photographer (as I still am.) I have always grown up loving babies and the thought of being a mom. I am also a wedding photographer. Relationships, savoring moments, and love will always be so important to me.
What led you to become a Doula?: I am happiest when I am encouraging women and helping them to see how strong and powerful they are. Birth is absolutely incredible and helps me to understand life itself. Being able to help a woman see her strength while reaching depths of herself she never knew existed and helping to guide her through her options for when she gives birth is beyond rewarding.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
A review from a past client I did birth photography for, ” What I didn’t realize at that time was how incredibly caring and compassionate Faith is and how dedicated she is to her work. Faith came to the hospital as soon as it was time and was so kind and encouraging to me throughout labor. I honestly couldn’t imagine having anyone else there with me for this special moment in my life. If I ever have another baby, I wouldn’t hire anyone besides Faith and I HIGHLY recommend her.”
