Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have trained with DONA international, CAPPA and ProDoula to be the best postpartum and labor doula I can be. I have been blessed with the life changing, most rewarding experience in life of loving and raising two children. I am a certified yoga teacher, with additional certifications in prenatal, yin, restorative and kids yoga.

What led you to become a Doula?: My first grand BEBE :) My son and wife lived across the country during the pregnancy of their first child. I stumbled on doula service when I was trying to find the best way on how to support them from far away. Once I found this kind of work and started looking into it, I was hooked. I read every bit of material I could find,and decided to start the process of being certified. After that I took the leap of faith in a major career change and never looked back. I have never regretted this decision and feel honored each time I am invited to Mom's birthing journey or first couple of weeks of postpartum. Becoming a doula was a life changing opportunity which presented itself at the perfect time in my life. Not having little children in my household and not having to be tied down to another career gives me the freedom and time needed for this honroable job. I was already teaching yoga at the time and decided to add prenatal yoga ot be able to offer to my clients.
