Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: - I have been working with families and young children since 1997. My specialty is Early Childhood Education and Child Development. I was an Early Childhood Teacher for 21 years and have always been passionate about working with the entire family using a holistic approach. The birth of a new baby is an important moment in life and I strive to provide services that nurture and support the entire family through this process, just like I did during my educational career.
What led you to become a Doula?: My journey into the world of doula work started a few years ago, after my own experience of pregnancy. After I experienced pregnancy loss and went through my own postpartum experience,a desire was born in my heart to be become certified as a doula and accompany other families experiencing pregnancy and perinatal loss. As I continued my training, I discovered the joy of helping families in many different situations alongside their Birth and Postpartum journey, so I trained as a Postpartum and Infant Care Doula with ProDoula. I currently offer birth, postpartum and bereavement services, as well as Childbirth Education. I am very active in my local community and have a passion for building meaningful connections that benefit the families I serve and society at large. From conception to bundle of joy...wherever the journey of pregnancy takes families, I want to be their companion and their support system. My passion is to help families develop their knowledge about all things Birth and Postpartum while providing a safe, calm and respectful environment.

Clients love that I am passionate and knowledgeable as a doula. They appreciate that I demonstrate compassion, dedication and deep respect for their decision making process. They also loved that I helped to ease their anxiety before birth/postpartum by providing access to information and resources that they requested. Postpartum families also mentioned my kindness and attention to detail, as well as being resourceful and supportive.
