Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have attended multiple births and cared for infants postpartum for the past few years. I am very in tune with the human condition involved with pre/postpartum and enjoy connecting with birthing people on the most fundamental and instinctual levels. I am a supportive, empathetic person who strives to make others' experiences fulfilling.

What led you to become a Doula?: After experiencing my godsons being born, I realized how truly powerful birthers are pushed to become. Once I had my own birthing experience, having support through the process was put into perspective for me. People deserve to have a village in this experience, however it is acquired.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

My friends, family, coworkers, employees, etc. describe me as a funny, outgoing person. I try to be my most genuine self and that tends to resonate with others, especially while I’m being empathetic to their situations. I’ve been told I “hear” people and respond in kind. It’s always very endearing.
