Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I'm a dedicated maternal health activist, that brings a wealth of experience and passion to my role as a birth doula. With a background rooted in advocacy for improved maternal health care, I have worked tirelessly to address disparities in birthing outcomes and promote informed, compassionate care for all birthing people. My extensive experience includes collaborating with healthcare providers to implement patient-centered practices and supporting diverse families through their unique birthing journeys. My deep understanding of the emotional, physical, and psychological aspects of childbirth, coupled with my commitment to empowering women, makes my invaluable support to expectant families a positive and personalized birthing experience.

What led you to become a Doula?: My journey to becoming a doula began with my own birth experiences, where I was fortunate to have a doula and a supportive village by my side. The profound impact of compassionate and knowledgeable support during my childbirths inspired me to provide the same for others. I saw many women struggle with inadequate care and realized how crucial continuous, personalized support is for positive birthing outcomes. This solidified my commitment to maternal health advocacy. Motivated by a desire to empower and support families during one of the most significant moments of their lives, I pursued training as a doula. Now, I am dedicated to making a meaningful difference in the lives of mothers and their families.
