Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: What makes me unique is my background in advanced statistics. Having earned a master's degree in actuarial science as well as actuarial credentials, I am particularly skilled at interpreting academic studies and their statistical evidence. I am passionate about evidence based care and enjoy reading studies on maternal health. Also, I am well versed in Hypnobirthing and Hypnobabies as I used their techniques during my own births.

What led you to become a Doula?: The experiences I had birthing both of my children with my doula are what inspired me to get involved myself. I felt called to give back and provide the same type of support for birthing people. The power birthing people hold, no matter how their birth stories go, is simply inspiring and humbling. I want to be your biggest cheerleader. Every woman deserves to have a doula to provide continuous support as part of their birth team.
