Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Birth Care for over 10 years before certifications, Professional Nanny & babysitter for over 13 years, Infant Care
What led you to become a Doula?: I was around age 11 when I realized through love of different birth shows about Midwives and the personal experiences with close family members. I had found such a high interest of birth and all things involved in the birth world , even the high stress moments where things are shaky & unsure. Something about helping people in this area brings an empowerment to everyone involved and for it to come natural to me, I just never fond myself so heavily dedicated to anything else .
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
One thing I can brag on is the fact that so many people have always felt that I am trustworthy. Not just to say “You can tell me anything “ but more so , I am very easy to feel comfortable around. I have been complemented on the facts that When you think of what a Doula brings to families ; My personality fits to the T. I also love to see and hear “ my children love you” even beyond birth care, keeping in good touch with families always show reward by way of voice of appreciation.
