Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: With a B.S. in Health Education and a Master of Public Health degree I strive to bring evidence based support and care to all of my clients. Through this educational foundation I strive to provide concrete postpartum care and answers. While educated in the scholarly sense I have also birthed three children of my own, and helped nurture and care for children and mothers for the past 10 years. My heart has always felt drawn to the pregnant and postpartum world and ultimately led me this career as a doula, a Certified Lactation Counselor, and a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist.
What led you to become a Doula?: Through the birth experiences of myself, my family members and friends I decided that I wanted to help the birth world as much as I could. This field is lacking in every sense, and doulas can have a powerful impact on a personal level that I feel is very much needed.
