Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have just recently been certified as a doula and am eager to build experience! I am also currently getting my degree in Music Therapy. I plan to use this unique and powerful type of therapy in my work as a birth professional. Music is a valuable tool in relaxation, mindfulness, and establishing a rhythm through the patterns of labor and birth. I also offer the special experience of an "entrance song" to provide a sense of ceremony for the birth of baby. This is an original song written for baby with the help of the parents and will be played as baby enters the world. I am honored and excited to be a source of support for your birth experience!

What led you to become a Doula?: Ever since I was a small child, I have always been fascinated by the wonder and power of the phenomenons of pregnancy and birth. Women are amazing! I am thrilled to be able to combine my passions for birth and music to provide an individualized and joyful birth experience for all involved.
