Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Most of my life has been spent nurturing and caring for new mothers, babies and children. I have years of hands on experience that has all come together to make me the doula I am today.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have been a doula, without knowing it was something others paid for, for quite a while. While attending a loved ones birth, it was pointed out to me by the care provider that I'd make an excellent doula. I wasn't too familiar with all being a doula entailed but as I learned more I knew it was were I was meant to be. From that point on I dove deep into personal study, in-person trainings, online courses, and certifications in both Labor Support and Childbirth Education to become a birth professional and support parents in all this journey entails.
