Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am a journalist dropout turned Birth Nerd. I'm a Certified Health Coach specializing in families with young children and pregnancy + Birth Doula & Postpartum and Infant Care Doula + Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator. I have also hosted a podcast named Naturalmente Mamá since 2017 where I aim to empower families to know their options and trust their intuition.
What led you to become a Doula?: Becoming a mother faced me with the reality of the myths around childbirth in the Hispanic community. I made it my mission to share what I knew, what I had learned, and what I had discovered so far in my own journey. In the middle of my own postpartum journey, I opened a blog writing in Spanish to fill in the gap because there was almost nothing in Spanish, at least nothing that was evidenced-based information.

Some of the moms I have worked with would describe me as a loving, professional, and passionate doula. They would also share that I make them feel confident and comfortable during the most vulnerable moments of their life.
