Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: More than 20 years being welcomed into homes working with parents and little ones of every age.

What led you to become a Doula?: For as long as I can remember I have always want to help someone that needed it and families are my weakness. Whether is it helping a mom transition into motherhood or a child transition to a new baby in the house, I want to help!

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

This is something I do not share often but there have been a occasions that I have received a complement that has overwhelmed me with honor.
One of them was a mother that said to me:
“You are my backbone.”
Another was in a moment I was considering leaving child care and a father I had worked for for nearly five years responded with:
“That would be a disservice to children.”
(Still brings me to tears)
