Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Deidre Baker is an integrative massage therapist with 18 years of experience and specialty in Maternity Massage. Fertility massage to help with conception, Prenatal Massage to help relieve aches and pains during pregnancy, Labor Stimulation Massage, which starts at 39 weeks of pregnancy, and Postpartum Massage to help ease pain and stress following delivery. Deidre is also a Perinatal Massage therapist and offers Labor Doula support.
What led you to become a Doula?: After struggling with my own fertility journey and watching so many friends and family struggle with the same issues becoming a birth professional became an easy goal. Through massage and labor doula support, I have been able to walk beside each of my clients no matter what phase of there journey they are in. .
