Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I worked as a CNA for a few years. I also taught at an elementary school.
What led you to become a Doula?: I’ve always been interested in labor and delivery, more in the medical field at first. But when I became a mother, it became very clear to me I more so wanted to show family the support while going through pregnancy and birth and postpartum.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
“Kayla is amazing! She was there to answer all my questions, even if I thought some were silly. She assured me there is no such thing! We’ve built a friendship and even 4 months PP, she still checks in on me and my little. Being a first time mother I was extremely nervous and she made me confident in knowing I could handle anything. 10/10 would recommend and will be using her in the future for any more pregnancies I have!”
