Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have many years experience in the medical field and have always been drawn to Labor and Delivery. I love being with and helping new mothers and infants.

What led you to become a Doula?: When I learned about the roles of a birth doula and postpartum doula, I knew this was the profession for me! Along with all the joy of expecting a little one(s), also comes many sleepless nights and a lot more to get done at home. Having a set of trustworthy, experienced helping hands along the way can make the transition so much easier and enjoyable and having more time for what’s most important to you. I also love being a labor doula because it can be such an unpredictable, even frightening time, but having someone experienced, who’s only there for you and your companion can provide security and help you navigate the different stages of labor. Each woman will write a unique story and I love supporting them, helping them achieve their birth goals and feeling happy as they enter this new chapter.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

Other people have commented on how I am always smiling. No matter the situation, I always try to find joy in the occasion and brighten the room. I am a hard worker and a strategic thinker. I’m also very dependable.
