Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: As a mother of three, I have a deep love for the beauty and raw emotion that comes with pregnancy, labour, and birth. As an Empath, Enneagram 2, and incredibly compassionate person, I feel that I can attune myself easily to the needs of others and offer unwavering support. To care for people makes me the happiest.

What led you to become a Doula?: After attending the two births of my best friend’s daughters, I felt incredibly called to birth work, but didn’t know where or how to fit it into my life. I wanted to be in the room to support all birthing people and their partners, as well as to witness babies come into the world time and time again. I was so excited to follow this path to labour and birth doula work. I recognize the absolute privilege it is to share in people’s most intimate and life-changing moments that come with pregnancy, labour, and birth.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

I am told that I am maternal, nurturing, compassionate, and kind. I also have a fierce sense of humor that people have told me they appreciate to pick them up in moments when life feels a little heavy.
