Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Over the past year, I have been helping new and experienced families learn and grow. As a Certified Doula I am specialized in Labor, Postpartum, and Infant Care. I am up to date on all things baby gear, as I have worked the past three years at a local natural parenting store.
What led you to become a Doula?: My personal birth stories, both very different from each other are what led me to becoming a doula. My first birth experience was a planned c-section. While my second birth experience involved preterm labor and birth, post partum depression and birth trauma. Because of this, I promised myself to help as many new and experienced families as I could on their birth journeys.
