Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I’ve always had a passion for working with children but when I was pregnant with my first born and taking all the classes I possibly could I realized my true place was going to be in birth work. I love getting the chance to provide community and support to families during this amazing and transitional time in their life. From trying to conceive all the way through postpartum I am honored to come along side families and build lasting relationships through informational, physical, and emotional support.

What led you to become a Doula?: The belief that birthing experience could be better. The belief that birth is miraculous and beautiful and that women don’t have to walk away from birth traumatized. After witnessing the birth and postpartum journeys of family, friends, and myself I knew for sure that I could make a difference in the lives of families all around me.
