Having completed comprehensive labor doula training, I have gained a solid foundation in childbirth education, comfort measures, and emotional support techniques. Additionally, my background in working with families and service roles has honed my ability to connect with individuals, understand their unique needs, and provide compassionate care. Through these experiences, I have developed a deep appreciation for the transformative power of birth and the incredible strength within each individual.

What led you to become a Doula?: Becoming a birth professional is a natural extension of my lifelong passion for support, service, and guiding others towards positive experiences. From a young age, I've been drawn to the beginning stages of life, and I believe that offering compassionate care during this transformative time is a calling I couldn't ignore. What truly ignited my dedication to this path was learning about the stark disparities in black maternal deaths. Witnessing the profound impact of compassionate care and the urgent need for equitable support in childbirth deeply moved me. I realized that as a birth professional, I have the opportunity to play a vital role in empowering parents, encouraging parents to advocate for their rights, and addressing these disparities. Guided by my desire to create positive change and make a meaningful difference, I embarked on a journey of doula training and education. Through comprehensive learning and hands-on experience, I have honed my skills in providing evidence-based guidance, comfort measures, and unwavering support to families. I am committed to ensuring that every parent receives the care, respect, and understanding they deserve during this significant moment in their lives. By offering compassionate care and advocating for inclusive and empowering birthing experiences, I hope to contribute to a world where all parents feel empowered, supported, and celebrated during their birthing journey.
