Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have worked 15 years as a Nanny in the Seattle area, and also raised a special needs child.Most of my families have been first time parents. My goal is to make sure parents feel seen and heard, so they can thrive during the transition to parenthood. I have an abundance of empathy and patience, and try to find humor wherever I can.

What led you to become a Doula?: I understand how scary and overwhelming becoming a parent can be. I became a doula so I could help empower and support parents. I want my families to know that they aren't alone and I will be there to help guide,answer questions or give them a chance to rest. Whatever it is they need, I'm there.
