Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been a nanny for over a decade and have always especially loved working with infants. I now have my own infant as well and have learned a lot more.
What led you to become a Doula?: I’ve always been obsessed with pregnancy and babies. In my culture (puertorican) having babies is such a beautiful, important and expected experience and I grew up cherishing that and excited for when it would be my turn. I hired a doula for my birth and after 10 years of wishing I had become a doula, I took the leap of faith. I’m happy to now be able to support mothers during their transformative journey and together be able to create a birth experience they fall in love with.
