Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I’ve supported new families as doula for 7 years, as a childbirth educator for 5, and a postpartum doula for a year now.
What led you to become a Doula?: Growing up, my mother always shared, with me, three positive birth stories. I was never fearful of birth, and that nonchalance seemed to attract folks. Quite organically, I started supporting friends and family during their birth experiences, and eventually, discovered the role of a doula.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
Emily is a fun, authentic, determined, people person. And she functions miraculously well on barely any sleep.
