Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Merle Norman- I helped people feel better about themselves through makeup, wigs, jewelry, and accessories. Insurance- making families feel protected and secure when it is needed the most.

What led you to become a Doula?: When getting pregnant with my son I had a very vivid vision of how I wanted my birth and postpartum to go. Due to unforeseen circumstances my birth did not go the way I had visioned. Knowing now I needed assistance in how to navigate in the hospital and after.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

Aarica always has a kind smile on her face and exudes joy. Families love her calm demeanor, assured presence, and her extensive knowledge about birth, postpartum and infant care.
