Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Abby is a dedicated and compassionate postpartum doula with 12+ years of nannying experience helping many families transition into life with a new baby. She has a deep passion for supporting new parents through the challenges and joys of the postpartum period. Abby understands that every family is unique, and she tailors her approach to meet the specific needs and values of each client. With a background in childcare, Abby brings experience and knowledge to her role as a Postpartum Doula. She has experience providing breastfeeding support as well experience with cloth diapering.

What led you to become a Doula?: I am fascinated by the growth and the development of families. I find that so many parents need advocates for themselves and baby. It’s a privilege to work alongside and witness the postpartum journey.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

“When Abby met my daughter at 2.5 months old she noticed how fussy and unsettled my baby was, noting that her neck seemed to be restricted in movement, and her flat spot on her head.
Up until this point, I saw 3 lactation specialists about our nursing issues- 2 in hospital and 1 within the first couple weeks of babies life. No one mentioned her neck being the culprit.
I showed the flat spot to the pediatrician at 2 months old and she told me not to worry about it until 4 months.
She started going to the chiropractor at 3 months and became a much happier baby.
Abby has an intuition that not everyone has.”
