Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Growing up in a Military family, moving every 3 years to marrying into the Military has taught me the ability to adapt. Adapt to different situations, lifestyles, and environments. You have to be ready to shift your thoughts, your focus, and priorities at any given time.
What led you to become a Doula?: Believing that the birthing experience could be better! Witnessing the disconnect that family and friends had with their experiences, and realizing that the experiences that I had were vastly different across the board.
