Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Over the past 3 years, I have professionally worked with families while in the role of a Postpartum Doula
What led you to become a Doula?: Growing up, I was always the one helping to take care of the new babies in my family. Doing everything from changing diapers and swaddling them to even helping my mom when she was breastfeeding my little sister. I have always wanted to work close with expecting parents and new babies in some capacity. First I wanted to become an OB/GYN and help the birthing parent welcome babies earth side. I later learned about the role of being a Postpartum Doula and immediately fell in love, knowing this is what I have been placed here on earth to do.
