Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am an active member in the birth community in Fargo, ND. I am First Aid/CPR/AED Certified and a Certified Postpartum Doula. I love to capture births through photography and support families throughout the birthing process. Being able to help care for the family after the baby has been born is such an honor for me and a blessing for them.
What led you to become a Doula?: I am a mom to 3 little boys and I hear so frequently that new moms lacked the community and support that they desperately deserved. I wanted to help make the postpartum journey for moms more stress free. I love being a birth photographer and then getting the chance to add support after witnessing their strength during their birth is priceless for me.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
People often describe me as patient and friendly. I can walk into most situations and feel like I belong. I have been told that I am a great listener and very observant to what needs to be done in the moment. I am very organized and detail oriented and can keep things running smoothly.
