Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have a Zoology degree! Humans are mammals after all ;) With her inquisitive nature, sense of humor, and passion for helping others, doula work is a perfect fit!
What led you to become a Doula?: Parenthood and the birth process was always interesting to me. After the birth of my first I decided to spend my energy in the birth work field. I want all parents to feel confident and people's birthing experience to a respectful and great part of their lives.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
I am told I am funny and good hearted! As a doula I am calming and reassuring. When it comes to training doulas I like to keep it real and have fun! I have been told that as an educator I have inspired others and they learn a lot!
