Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: My first birth was 15 years ago, and it was then that I fell in love with labor and delivering. Many years later I became certified and began working in South Florida as a birth & postpartum doula with Coastal Doulas of Palm Beach. Recently I moved to the North Georgia mountains and am now happy to serve in this area.

What led you to become a Doula?: My first birth was my niece and I fell in love! Once I had children of my own and loved each of their own births, I knew that my passion was to assist women in having the same joy that I had for their own births. I became certified as a birth doula with Prodoula in 2016 and I have never regretted it. Educating women and coming alongside them during pregnancy, labor, birth and motherhood is a miracle that I do not hold lightly. I count each birth I attend as a gift and I am blessed to be apart of their journey.
