Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I became a Certified Labor Doula in 2023, though I did work as a Labor Doula for a period of time before becoming certified. Since becoming certified I have supported multiple families through labor and delivery. Each experience has been totally different and unique, and I have gained different sets of skills with each one. Prior to becoming a Doula I was a massage therapist, so serving and supporting others is natural for me, and gives me joy.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have four children of my own, and after four completely different birth experiences, I realized I wanted a career where I could support other women in childbirth in hopes of helping them have the best experience possible. I love supporting women through this sacred time. My goal is to help each woman/couple feel safe, supported, loved and heard before, during and after birth.
