Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: For seven years, I have been grateful to work in various settings with new families. Aside from my formal certifications as a Labor and Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, I have been a certified caregiver for families serving children in the foster care system and have five years of experience actively caring for twins from infancy.

What led you to become a Doula?: I found my passion for birth work early in life and have always been drawn to pregnancy, labor and delivery, and postpartum families. After having two children of my own, experiencing two back to back miscarriages, and struggling with postpartum anxiety and depression, I got a personal look into the importance of compassionate, non-judgmental support for families experiencing the rollercoaster of pregnancy and parenting.
