Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work:

What led you to become a Doula?: As a mother of two, I have personally experienced the transformative and empowering journey of pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding. This firsthand experience has not only solidified my interest in women's health and motherhood but has also inspired me to pursue a career dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to expectant mothers. When I first heard about what a doula was I couldn't help but think that's what I want to do. I felt so supported from my nursing staff all the way to the OBs and Midwives. I think all birth is beautiful and I want to be there to help mothers advocate for themselves. All mothers deserve the support that a doula can offer. I feel passionately that mothers working with me should feel safe, comfortable, and educated; no matter their choices for birth. This is the first time where I feel confidently in my soul “This is my purpose.”
