Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am certified as a Labor Doula, Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, and Postpartum Placenta Specialist. I use a compassionate and evidence-based approach to support clients without bias or judgment in choosing the care best suited to their unique family. As a Postpartum Placenta Specialist, I provide placenta encapsulation services, as well as tinctures, placenta prints, and cord keepsakes. I have additional training and experience in: supporting clients through VBAC/TOLAC, cesarean birth, multiples, feeding (breast/chest, bottle, and formula), NICU experiences, bereavement and loss, and mental health. I am also experienced in bengkung belly binding, a method of wrapping the belly after birth to support postpartum healing. I offer one-on-one sessions to teach clients how to wrap themselves.

What led you to become a Doula?: My interest in birth work was sparked at the age of 12 when I supported a family before and after the arrival of their twins. Even at that young age, I felt honored to be invited into that intimate and powerful transition. Today, I love supporting families through important life transitions. My goal is to provide you with the information, care, and support to feel empowered as a parent, while finding ways to continue caring for yourself.
