Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I am a mother of two and business woman who understands the critical importance of making your voice heard. I've worked in the corporate world for twenty years, navigating diverse personalities and complex situations. I am comfortable speaking up and advocating for women's needs and rights.

What led you to become a Doula?: Growing and delivering my sons made me feel more powerful than during any other time in my life. I also believe the medical system often leads women to labor interventions that ultimately aren't necessary. The female body is built to deliver babies - despite a narrative that focuses on pain and feeds into natural fears about labor. I was called to this profession to give women the permission they need to have the labor of their dreams.
