Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: CPR certified, Evidence Based Birth professional, LPN nursing background as well!
What led you to become a Doula?: Being a mother of five and having a variety of experiences led me to discovering my purpose in birth work! Having my last two pregnancies under the care of midwives led me to learning what a doula was and realizing it’s been a role I’ve navigated in my adult life helping out family and friends. My heart has always been mothering the mother because they are often forgotten once babies are born & that’s when they need the love and attention the most!
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
I have heard my entire life that my loyalty is unmatched, I am polite, professional, and assertive when duty calls. Laidback and open-minded. Lastly, I am incredibly funny!
