Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: Hi! I am Carley and I am so excited to support you through this new chapter of life. I am a wife, mama to 8 children, preschool teacher and labor and postpartum doula. As a labor and postpartum doula I strive to be that nonjudgemental support helping women enter into a new chapter of their lives, while educating and empowering them through new experiences and challenges. As a preschool teacher the focus on building a child in their confidence and self has helped me in supporting women during a new life chapter. With my education in Human Development and Family Studies I know how important support for the family and child is, a community supporting the family helps set up the family for life long success.

What led you to become a Doula?: As a sleep consultant I know how important education and support is for new parents trying to navigate information from various sources trying to identify and feel confident in their parenting style. With my background as a sleep consultant and preschool teacher I have been drawn to being that support for families and believe the support for new moms is something that needs to be focused on and addressed.
