Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I was a nanny from 2012-2014
What led you to become a Doula?: I have always loved everything about pregnancy, birth, and babies. 13 years ago, I started the process to become a labor and delivery nurse. When I was unable to proceed with that, I went to more realistic job opportunities. In 2017 when I had my first surrogate twins, I realized that I needed a doula, but also I could still do the work I love without being a nurse. That was the start of my journey into doula work.
