Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been supporting women in pregnancy, labor and the postpartum period since 1997. I have worked with teens, single moms, married couples, first time birthers and 5th time birthers. I've been part of inductions, medicated births, and lots tricky deliveries; fast births, long labors and everything in between. I have experience with all kinds of interventions and Cesarean section as well. Since 2018 I have made my passion my business and offering Childbirth Education is an exciting addition to my services!
What led you to become a Doula?: My passion for pregnancy and childbirth is as old as my earliest memories. The birth of a younger sibling ignited a powerful interest in pregnant women, new babies and growing families. I have turned that interest into an ability to provide sensitive and knowledgeable support before, during and after the birth of your new baby. I see every pregnancy and birth as a miracle and as a trained Doula, I feel honored to be able to contribute my expertise to women and families in the Walla Walla Valley and beyond.
