Meet Your ProDoula
Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: After many years of caring for infants and young children in a childcare setting, two pregnancies and births of my own, and helping friends through concerns in their pregnancies and postpartum period, I decided to train and certify as a Labor and Postpartum Doula through ProDoula.
What led you to become a Doula?: I have had a passion for birth and babies for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I always dreamed of being a mother. Pregnancy, birth, and taking care of babies was what I wanted to do. At that time, I didn't even know doulas existed so I initially pursued a career in childcare. After giving birth to my second son, I really realized my passion for not only children, but for the exact type of work that doulas do.
