Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I became a doula in 2001. I was then honored to work alongside a wonderfully skilled midwife from 2001-2005. I was a doula and also a midwife assistant during that time. I became a CLC in 2015 and then created Bell House Birth Services in 2015. I am the mother of 5 beautiful children and have 10 grandchildren, 7 of whom I have supported their mother's birth.
What led you to become a Doula?: When my oldest daughter became a teen mother I was introduced to a doula. I then realized how unsupported women can be during this important transition into motherhood and it became my life work.
