Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have attended many births thus far in the capacity of both Doula and Birth Photographer. I have works individually as a Birth Doula, Photographer or simultaneously as both depending on the needs of my clients. I personally had two beautiful, natural, doula supported births with my children and have a true love and passion for birth work in general. I love all aspects of labor planning and I encourage all of my clients to have a birth plan that can encompass all possible outcomes, even the ones that may not be ideal for them so if something does not go according to plan, they are still prepared for alternatives.

What led you to become a Doula?: I welcomes my daughter and son into this world with two incredibly supported births. My husband not only was the best at comforting my pain and helping me through the throws of labor while my Doulas both held space for me and made sure to keep us both on track with our plans. Both of my births although very different were incredible and I love to be able to help others to achieve the same while supporting them in the process of what is best for them so they have a story they can look back on with true joy and amazing memories.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

Devon is very passionate about anything she does. Devon is patient, kind, full of energy and always makes everyone around her a priority even people she just met. Devon is an amazing mom and friend. Devon held space for me during my birth and although it was a fast labor, her presence was so reassuring. Devon was a huge help in our birth plan prep and never judged us on any of our choices. Devon is a non-judgmental and supportive Doula.
