Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have worked at a Chiropractic office for two years and have been around many pregnancies and newborn babies! With this, I have been able to be there for families from finding out about pregnancy all the way until birth. I have been able to support families in any form they may have needed while in the office. Once the baby was born I was able to hold the baby and give parents a moment of relaxation. This allowed them to talk to the doctor about their care and how everything was going at home.

What led you to become a Doula?: I have had a passion for births for a long time. I have always loved the idea of being there for someone during their pregnancy and during birth. Birth can be such a beautiful time filled with lots of love and emotions. I would love to be able to support someone during this time, make them feel empowered, and help them see that what they are accomplishing is beautiful.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

The people around me have always said that I am constantly smiling and happy! I love to make sure there is always a positive atmosphere around me and to make sure everyone around me is comfortable in the space we are in. People have also always told me I was very caring. I always want everyone to be healthy and happy. I make sure to do everything possible to take care of the people around me.
