Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I've done training with ProDoula for my certification. Beyond that, I've had four babies of my own and am always the person friends and family call for advice about pregnancy or baby related concerns.
What led you to become a Doula?: I love babies. Always have. I've noticed a trend in newly postpartum mothers lately, they don't always get the support or information they need to feel comfortable and confident in themselves as a parent. I am hoping to change that.
What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:
Since I announced I was becoming a doula I’ve been told I’m brave, determined, and knowledgeable. Loyal, passionate, and forthcoming were words that have been used to describe me in the past.
