Meet Your ProDoula

Background/Experience that you think is beneficial to Doula work: I have been the “unofficial” doula for my friends and family for years. As a mom of 4, including a set twins, I know that adequate support through your pregnancy, birth and postpartum period is vital. When I was pregnant my doulas and their support were invaluable. The empowerment and validation I received allowed me to embrace my pregnancy, the birth process, and to have confidence in my intuition. As your doula I focus on listening to you, and helping to create the birth and postpartum experience that is best for your family.

What led you to become a Doula?: I have been interested in mothers and babies, since I can remember. When I became a mother, my own experiences with my doulas allowed me to realize that the non bias support, in this day and time of the internet and social media is exactly what a new mothers needs. Moms need to be able to make the best decision for her family intuitively.

What are some positive comments made about you by other people?:

One of the best compliments I have gotten was from a former employee. She said “After a few minutes with you. You make people feel like they can conquer anything!” I love that because I aim to nudge people into their own greatness.
